Stuart Bruening is the designer, owner and leader. He developed something special based on his philosophies of value, service and relationships. “If you take care of every guest as if they were family and show them how appreciative you are of their loyalty, you will have a solid foundation to build upon”. His vision is to make every relationship lasting and every golf experience memorable. When he accomplishes this goal, he knows he has created a very special place.

Stuart built a team of proven leaders whose tenure makes his vision a reality. Dave Cahalane, former President of the Golf Colorado Section Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) and the Head Agronomist at Bear Dance, Dave is responsible for the pristine playing conditions and the champion in environmental awareness. Dave has led many great property enhancements to the property such as the addition of a 575 yard water feature meandering down hole #8, a 565 yard par 5. The completion of this renovation and many other in-house projects this tandem has implemented keeps Bear Dance at the top of its game.

Michel Autret, Food and Beverage Director, creatively offers amazing dining experiences. The Executive Chef, Michael Hendricks strives daily to offer something for everyone. From the avid golfer, to the elegant diner, as well as the wedding couple who wants the dream, this duo goes the mile. They have recently released an amazing new menu offering selections ranging from a Pesto Goat Cheese Salad, Sweet Baby Back Ribs, to a perfectly prepared Coriander Mint Rack of Lamb as well
as an impressive selection of Colorado Craft Beers!

Mark Pfingston, Head Golf Professional and the 2017 PGA National Merchandiser of the Year, leads the golf operations team comprised of customer service specialists striving to make your golf experience memorable. His teams of professionals have created many attractive membership opportunities that have produced a growing number of programs over his 15 years of service. The 1st Assistant, Cy Twete is the Director of Instruction and an experienced club fitter, has been a part of the Team for 8 years and will soon be leading his own course real soon!

The Golf Club at Bear Dance has partnered with the Colorado Section PGA and is the home site for more than 750 of its members and apprentices, combining the history and tradition of the PGA and the game of golf, coupled with a truly unique, one-of-a-kind golf experience.
