TGA-Premier Junior Golf At-school youth golf program in Arapahoe County
TGA of Arapahoe County, owned and operated by Mike Campbell, is the only after-school enrichment junior golf program in Arapahoe County. Since the program launched in 2010, the local after-school junior golf program is growing rapidly. This includes over 18 area schools and over 500 registrations. TGA of Arapahoe County is currently offering programs in Aurora, Centennial, Englewood, Greenwood Village, and Littleton.
At-School TGA Golf Programs
TGA is the only national after school program that teaches the fundamentals of the game of golf, its rules, etiquette, and life values, while promoting education for kindergarten students through the eighth grade. Since its inception in six Los Angeles schools in 2003, the premier junior golf program is now offered nationwide in over 2,300 schools, reaching 135,000 students in 23 states.
The TGA enrichment curriculum, developed by PhDs in child and curriculum development, along with PGA and LPGA golf professionals, is a five-level program designed for kids to advance from one level to the next while building self-esteem as well as confidence in terms of education, life skills and character development.
TGA Summer Golf Camps & Tournaments
If you are looking for a unique junior golf camp for your son or daughter that combines learning the game of golf together with education and life values, then the TGA summer golf camps are the perfect golf learning environment. These specialized junior golf camps, which are open to kids ages 5 to 14, are tailored for all skill levels from the child who is just starting out to the more experienced player looking to advance their game.
Campbell has focused his efforts on school systems in Arapahoe County including public schools in the Cherry Creek, Littleton, Aurora, and Englewood school districts as well as private schools looking to enhance their before and after-school enrichment programs.
Campbell, who was born and raised locally in Broomfield, comes to TGA with a BA in Psychology from Arizona State University and an MA in Sports Psychology from San Diego State University. Campbell, who worked in the corporate training industry prior to joining TGA, and his staff of 8 TGA coaches, love working with the kids and growing the game of golf locally.
“I am truly excited to be a part of TGA and extremely proud to continue to offer this amazing program to the people of Arapahoe County,” said Campbell. “The TGA program has proven to be very successful in many other locations across the country and the same has been true in Arapahoe County.”
“I have always had a tremendous passion for the game of golf and working with kids. I cherish the opportunity to work with the area schools and parents using golf as a vehicle to teach their kids important character building skills while also enriching their lives by teaching them a lifelong sport,” said Campbell.
